Sibling Day was yesterday. I called my sister, try to everyday.❤️We had two brothers who died at birth.✝️ She’s the “brains in the outfit”. She graduated “Magna Cum Laude”, and I graduated ”lawdy, lawdy”.😂 Family is everything, God created the family before the tabernacle or the temple. The family is the building block of society.✝️ Let’s draw close to our families while we can. My wife and our children, I thank God for them.✝️ Father, thank You for giving us our families, amen.

Life can be tough.✝️ Awful things can come our way, we pray and He hears and answers them.🙏 Yes, no, later on, something else -🙏 I admit that I don’t always understand what He is doing, but He’s God! l’ve trusted Him with my eternity.✝️ Oh I feel that eternity grows closer each day: do you? Eclipse of the Sun was yesterday, 🎉there won’t be another in my lifetime.☹️ My mind went back to Genesis 1:3, “and God said, “let there be light, and there was light”.✝️ God is totally in charge.✝️ In Mark 15 there was total darkness from noon till 3 p.m. It was not an eclipse, but a supernatural darkness as Jesus takes all of our sins upon Himself. For the first time in all eternity, the Father and the Son were separated.✝️ Matthew 27:46: “My God, why have You forsaken Me?” But They are now One for eternity,✝️ thank You, Lord. Amen!

We had a visit from Sheriff Hancock to thank us for using our Church as a command center for the recent tornado.✝️ We are thankful we could help in this way. Working on next week’s message “Idol Worship?”, whatever we give first place to in our lives is what we worship.✝️ Father, we want to worship only You, guide us, in Your path, amen.

Sheriff’s officer took me on a tour of storm damaged area.☹️I am so thankful no one lost their life,🙏 but the damage is massive.✝️ We pray for those effected, for all the First Responders.🙏 The scripture that came to mind is, “Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for Thou art with me.”🎉✝️ Amen!

Yesterday, I saw first hand how our Sheriff’s office, all first responders came together to reach out to those hit by the storm. There were so many agencies, Fire Dept., Crisp County Power, EMS, Red Cross, oh I’ve missed some. Oh, Father, thank You for their work, ministry. We lift them up to You.🙏Our church, Lake Blackshear Baptist Church, served as the command post.✝️ Father, be with those affected by the storm, thank You, amen.

It’s Friday, but Sunday is coming!✝️ The followers of Jesus were in sadness, despair. He died on the cross and was buried. It’s all over they thought.☹️It was Friday, but Sunday was on the way.🎉 As the ladies went to the tomb, early that Sunday morning (thinking how to get the stone rolled away so they could annoint His “dead body”), the Angel would give them the best news ever, “He is not here! He is risen!”🎉 It’s Friday, but Sunday is coming, Amen!

The Praise Band is awesome.🎉 We had a great night of worship and planning outreach ministries.✝️ Now, I’m at coffee and prayer time with the men;🙏we pray about and for everything.🙏🙏Then, we are on the way to Tifton; taking my wife to the doctor there.✝️ Lord, it’s Your day, guide us, please, amen.

Awesome day of worship, Holy Spirit is at work.🎉 We received seven new members, two to be baptized. 🎉🎉 Our new praise band will be playing tonight for the first time for WOM/Brotherhood🎉supper at 6:30, all invited.😇 What a Mighty God we serve!✝️ Let's bow before Him and praise Him now, amen!

Awesome wedding yesterday for a young couple, I had the privilege of baptizing and later performing their wedding ceremony.🎉🎉 I told them that “Faith, Hope and Love, abide these three, but the greatest of these is Love”!! Amen?

Were you there when they crucified my Lord? We were not there physically, but the old Gospel song is correct.🙏 When He was on the Cross, I was on His mind.✝️ The Omniscient, Creator, God, knew us, loved us, died for us, and rose from the grave. When we apply the Blood He shed on the Cross to our lives through an act of faith in Him, we fulfill His Sacrifice for us. Amen!
