Saturday morning, I had coffee with the men at Chick-fil-A. We laughed, remembered and prayed.🙏 When these “pop-up” moments occur, seize them. These are moments sent by God. On the cusp of a new year, I don’t know what lies ahead, but we trust You, Father, with today and tomorrow, amen.

Oh, what a night of visitation!🎉 God opened doors and hearts. On the way to the nursing homes, they put up with my singing, my preaching and my jokes. Sunday morning, New Year’s Day, we will have coffee, donuts, chocolate milk, OJ, & breakfast casseroles at 9:30 a.m. It’s a great way to start the new year.🎉 Father, thank You for this day, amen.

Our son is on his way home.🙏 Last night, he sang and played for us at prayer meeting.🎉We have been blessed with our family, thank You, Father. Lord, again I lift up all families, the building blocks of life. Many are struggling right now, oh, please put Your arms around them, amen.

Daughter and son-in-law on the way home, our son leaves tomorrow.☹️ They came in a hurry; they leave in a hurry. We have had great joy the past few days.🎉 Family is everything. God created it first, before the tabernacle, the temple, even the church.✝️ Father, we lift the families to You. Oh, please put Your Arms around them, amen.

We were blessed again, all the family together once more.❤️ Isn’t it amazing how the simplest things can bring us such joy?🎉Tuesday, I will preach my 20th funeral for another family separated by death.✝️ Oh, Lord,we long for Your soon return, the years, the separation grows so long.🙏 I pray that Your Holy Spirit can break through to the hardest heart, amen.

Christmas Eve, my memory machine kicked in;😇I remembered all the years I signed on the radio and TV stations. I had to get the kids up early to see what Santa had brought, then they went back to sleep. The old song says it all, “Precious memories how they linger”. Oh, how we are blessed.🎉 A neighbor, a brother in Christ with a helper, came by and got our pipes and vents ready for the cold.😇 Many others have blessed us, a precious lady brought us a cake for Christmas. Funeral in Hawkinsville today and one in Cordele tomorrow, both were faithful servants.✝️ Our church is going caroling tonight; we will be “bundled up”.😇 Christmas almost here, the most awesome demonstration of love, as Jesus came to be with us.✝️ It’s my favorite time of the year! It’s 26 degrees, brrr!😇 I lived in Europe (in the army), and we had lots of snow, it was an eye waking experience for a “country bumpkin” from south Ga.😅 We were blessed to receive another member yesterday. 🎉 This Wednesday, we go caroling to some of our members who are “shut-in”.✝️ It’s Christmas, thank You, Lord, for coming to us, amen.
